Tanushree Ghosh is an Associate Professor of English at University of Nebraska Omaha. She researches and teaches in the areas of Nineteenth Century Studies, South Asian Literatures and Cultures, and Hindi Cinema.

Tanu Roy is an Indian film actress and model from Bengal who has worked in almost all the South Indian movie industries.

Tanu made her debut in Malayalam in the film Ee Adutha Kaalathu as Tanushree Ghosh and won critical acclaim for her portrayal of Madhuri, the mother of a year-old boy. [13] In Orissa, she played a social activist, who works for the welfare of tribal people in a village. [13].
